The Bath Burial Index is a compilation of information on burials for 50 of Bath’s cemeteries and graveyards past and present. It currently has over 240,000 entries from 1660 to present. In addition, there are over 30,000 images of surviving memorials.

Somerset & Dorset FHS
Aims to help anyone with ancestors from either or both counties. Becoming a member is quite easy and cheap. The society maintains a number of records related to the areas. The Society was founded in 1975, and has over 2,700 members registered worldwide. Members also receive a quarterly journal called ‘The Greenwood Tree’. The society’s research centre is in Sherbourne, where a number of records and databases can be accessed.
